Katherine is an experienced interior designer with 14 years of transforming spaces through thoughtful and intentional design. Specializing in residential, hospitality, and retail design, she has led award-winning projects for multi-family properties.
Her accomplishments include major retail store rollouts for national brands, luxury home makeovers, and renovations for upscale hotels and resorts. Katherine's work has been featured on design platforms such as Apartment Therapy, praised for its innovative yet livable style.
Holding a Bachelor of Arts from Kent State University with a minor in marketing, Katherine understands the impact design has on a space’s experience. Above all, she thrives on collaborating with clients to bring their vision to life through impactful, personalized interiors.
Outside of her design work, Katherine enjoys a glass of red wine (or a paloma, depending on the weather!) and spending time with her two daughters, Hadley and Elle, and her husband, Nick.
Design AssistantAVERY KUCZKOWSKI
Avery is a third year Interior Design student at The Ohio State University and serves as a Design Assistant at Katherine Thomas Studio. She has a growing passion for high end residential and hospitality design, bringing a fresh perspective and strong eye for detail to every project. Outside of design, Avery loves spending time with her family and enjoying dinners with friends, always finding inspiration in good company and beautiful spaces.
